The stories we tell reveal who we are and why we find life worth living, and I want to emulate those emotional truths in my work— not only to understand more about my personal identity but also to contribute to the ongoing human narrative that brings us together. Through my craft I feel connected to an age-old community of artists, and through my subject matter I feel connected to the entirety of humanity, and those relationships are extremely important to me.
